Foreclosure & Vacancy Maps and Data
  • HUD's REO Portal - The REO Portal can be used to identify and map REO properties marketed for sale by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and the Federal Housing Administration (FHA). Details needed for acquisition are included. Information is updated on a weekly basis.
  • HUD Foreclosure Risk Scores: NSP3 mapping tool; Data - Provided via HUDUSER, includes income limits and local level foreclosure data prepared by HUD
  • LISC Foreclosure Needs Scores: Map; Data- Available on Foreclosure-Response.org, index for identifying the ZIP codes likely to have the greatest relative need for foreclosure prevention and neighborhood stabilization resources
  • HMDA High-Cost Loan Data: Map; Data - Available on Foreclosure-Response.org, helps to identify where risky home purchase, refinance, and investor loans have been made, indicating areas that may be at greater risk for foreclosures
  • HUD Aggregated USPS Administrative Data on Address Vacancies - Quarterly data from the postal service identifying vacant addresses where mail has not been collected for 90+ days

  • HMDA Housing Market Indicators: Map; Data - Available on Foreclosure-Response.org, information on local housing market trends that can help to inform the appropriate policy response to foreclosures
